Client Brief: Fresh, airy and inviting. They wanted something comfortable yet beautiful but still luxurious. They named inspirational styles such as Studio McGee and Joanna Gaines and loved the modern farmhouse aesthetic. We were challenged with how to mix this style into a city skyscraper styled home. We achieved this by putting in shiplap walls in a wide plank, brought in warm wood and linen textures, and added a cowhide rug. We made a nod to the contemporary style of the apartment by adding modern nightstands and lighting to anchor the bed.
